KYC Analyst (Long-Term Contract)

We are currently hiring for a long-term KYC Analyst contract role with an esteemed mid-sized financial firm. This hybrid position requires onsite presence in London 2 days per week, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a dynamic financial environment.

• KYC Processes: Perform KYC procedures for the onboarding of new customer accounts and conduct periodic account reviews.
• Client Interaction: Engage with business lines and customers according to the review schedule, ensuring compliance with KYC requirements.
• Audit Support: Collect and organise documentation for internal and external audits.
• Metrics Management: Collect, track, and monitor operational metrics, such as service level agreements, and implement strategies to ensure risk thresholds are maintained within the firm's risk appetite.
• Escalation Protocols: Manage and maintain escalation protocols to address issues promptly.
• Documentation: Update operating manuals and related procedures to reflect current practices.
• System Validation: Track and schedule the annual validation of the KYC tool, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Compliance Liaison: Assist in coordinating with the Compliance Group to discuss trends, develop appropriate resolutions, and ensure operational processes are up-to-date.
• Training Support: Help in training staff on any updated procedures.
• Compliance Testing: Coordinate global financial crime compliance testing, including system and model validation. Track and assist in remediating any issues identified in the KYC Middle Office.

Requirements:
• Hands-on experience in KYC processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• ACAMS certification is preferred but not required.
