The Role

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Financial Promotions Compliance Specialist to ensure that all marketing and client-facing content complies with applicable regulatory requirements. You will work closely with marketing, legal, and product teams to review and approve materials, ensuring all communications are fair, clear, and not misleading — in line with FCA expectations.
This role is ideal for a compliance professional with deep familiarity with financial promotions regulations and a strong eye for clarity and detail in communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve financial promotions and marketing content in accordance with FCA rules (COBS, CONC, and Consumer Duty)
• Ensure all client communications meet standards of fairness, clarity, and accuracy
• Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams on digital, print, and social media promotions
• Maintain and update internal policies and procedures on financial promotions
• Keep accurate records of approvals and compliance decisions
• Support product and legal teams on new launches and related promotional materials
• Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to horizon scanning efforts
• Deliver training and raise awareness on financial promotions compliance
• Participate in audits and regulatory reviews as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in a financial promotions compliance role, ideally within an FCA-regulated firm
• Strong knowledge of FCA rules, including COBS, CONC, PRIN, and the Consumer Duty
• Experience reviewing marketing and financial product content
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to provide practical, business-aligned guidance
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to maintain audit-ready records and documentation
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CISI, ICA, or equivalent) preferred
