The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Risk & Compliance Analyst to support our client engagements and internal advisory projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong interest in financial regulations, operational risk, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with compliance monitoring activities and control testing
• Support risk assessments across financial crime, data protection, and operational risk
• Help review and update policies, procedures, and risk registers
• Conduct regulatory research and assist in horizon scanning exercises
• Track and log incidents, breaches, or compliance exceptions
• Support internal audit preparation and reporting
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK regulatory developments (e.g. FCA, ICO)
• Provide administrative support to senior compliance consultants as required
• Participate in client projects focused on AML, KYC remediation, and GRC system deployment

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation
• An interest in compliance, audit, or risk management
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Excel or Power BI is a plus
• Prior internship or work experience in compliance, banking, or legal environments is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and grow within a structured compliance environment
